How Does It Work?

At Little Canary Creations, we have developed an activity box that includes activities and projects to help a child with:

• emotional development
• animal recognitions
• hand eye coordination
• pattern recognition
• attention to details
• language development
• fine & gross motor skills
• counting and number recognition
• memory
• colors
• cause and effect
• problem solving
• letters and letter recognition

While learning all that and more, children are learning it through a certain subject matter/theme of that month.

All activities are explained in the learning outline provided in each box. They are designed to start with the adult's lead and then develop into child led activities. Depending on the child, some may grasp certain themes and concepts quicker than others - and that is totally fine and completely normal. All children grow and learn differently.

Every month we will launch a new themed activity box that you can choose to purchase.

The contents of each box vary depending on the theme, but they will typically include:

• laminated learning sheets
• learning outline
• binder for storing materials
• play-based learning activities
• STEM project
• arts and craft project

We also try to include any items needed for projects. That could be markers, scissors, tape, glue, etc. If we do not include it in the box, we always mention what is needed in the description of the product.

Themed Activity Boxes are geared towards children ages 3 – 6, but older kids will enjoy them too!

If you are looking for a box for a younger child, we do offer a Welcome to Toddlerhood box that is more suitable for children 12 months – 24 months of age. Unlike the Activity Boxes though, the Toddlerhood box will be a stand-alone box and will not change.

We only offer a set amount of quantity for each box per month. This is to ensure quality control of the products because activity boxes are made to order. As of right now, the quantity limit is 10 per themed box.

The first Friday of every month, we will launch a new themed box. At the launch of a new box, all quantities of boxes will reset to 10.

For Example:

In April we launch Bugs and Gardening Activity Box, with a stock quantity of 10. We only sell 5 for that month.

At the beginning of May, we launch a new themed box. The new themed box and the Bug and Gardening box will both have a stock quantity of 10 now.

So if you miss out on a box, don't worry! It will restock the following month.

All products are made to order so please allow 1-3 business days, after order confirmation, to create your activity box and send it out to you!
